New Zealand sails a `100% pure' global tourism tack

The New Zealand Tourism Board (NZTB) has launched a global marketing strategy aimed at further boosting the nation's top foreign-exchange earning industry. An amount of NZ$35 million has been set aside by the agency to fund the worldwide marketing campaign. As part of its marketing efforts, NZTB has unveiled an expanded World Wide Web site at www.purenz.com. The integrated campaign will also include promotions, advertising and public relations.

Tourism YukonEs oBig Adventureo advertising and Internet campaign was launched in late June to target people who are currently planning their holiday in the Yukon during the summer and fall. The response to the campaign has been overwhelming.
